For the budding performer (ages 10-18), A Noise Within offers courses that focus on improvisation, voice, character development and ensemble work.

YOUNG ACTOR'S WORKSHOP
This course allows students to explore the basics of acting on the stage. Group classes encourage teamwork and creative problem solving-skills which are useful in all academic subjects. Each session explores a different topic (character development, environment and situation) and utilizing scenes from classic plays, students are able to put into practice the various techniques they learn through exercises in improvisation, observation, text analysis and voice work. Eight-week sessions are designed to work consecutively to give students an overall theatrical experience.
$350 for one session - 8 weeks of classes
Classes meet Saturdays from 10am - 12 noon

SUMMER CAMP: SUMMER WITH SHAKESPEARE
2010 DATES COMING SOON!
This fun-filled program for young actors aged 10-18 meets during the summer. Classes include acting, improvisation, voice, speech, textual analysis, stage combat and more, and will culminate in an informal presentation of scenes from the plays of William Shakespeare.
Two Options
The Full Day:
Students experience
all technique classes and rehearse scenes and monologues from
Shakespeare for the final presentation.
10am - 4pm, $750
Summer School Special:
Students may join us in the afternoons for
our exciting technique classes and present demonstrations at the final
presentation. 1pm - 4pm $600
