Annette Nixon, Production Manager
Annette Elena Nixon is a theatre practitioner with over 20 years of experience in Southern California’s regional theatres. She is originally from San Diego, where she contributed to the theatre community as a production stage manager, choreographer, assistant director, arts administrator, performer, and teacher. Highlights from her career as a stage manager include successful collaborations on Broadway bound productions such as A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at the Old Globe Theatre & Peter and the Starcatcher at the La Jolla Playhouse. Annette has taught stage management as a guest lecturer at the University of San Diego. In addition to Annette’s work in theatre, she has spent many years working as a freelance producer for live events around the world with Google, IBM, Gulfstream, PWC, and Mazda. Annette holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University. As a Latinx woman, she is determined to contribute to the evolution of an equitable theatre industry.
