If you’ve visited the ANW theatre recently (and why wouldn’t you, Noises Off is on stage!), you might have noticed some new artwork up in our lobby. Our space is now graced with beautiful paintings by our Resident Artist, Mitchell Edmonds. Many of the works feature other Resident Artists, and offer glimpses of life backstage – a familiar place to an actor that has graced our stage many times. Some of these works of art are available for purchase, so consider bringing home a piece of our beloved theatre!
Welcome to my first “show.”
Actually my first “show” on stage was in a Christmas Nativity Pageant as “the donkey” when I was about 6 years old. I’m told I was pretty good. Ever since then I have been following my ambition to be a professional actor.
School plays, church drama groups, Idyllic Summer Stock seasons – 9 plays in 10 weeks – Broadway … Off Broadway … But I digress …
I better move this along. Yadda, yadda, yadda … And then …
I joined A Noise Within for their second season and have been a Resident Artist here ever since. For years my time was pretty devoted to ANW …
Now, as my stage demands have declined I have returned to my “stand-by” creative outlet: art.
