Kelly McMahon, Patron Services Manager

Kelly McMahon, Patron Services Manager, is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society and has MAs in Theatre from the University of Pittsburgh and the National University of Ireland, Galway. She has worked in theatres across the United States as well as Ireland including the historic Academy Theatre in Meadville, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre; An Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe (the national Irish language theatre of Ireland); Collaboraction in Chicago; and The Cabiri in Seattle. While in Ireland, she founded Ninth Wave Theatre, focusing on site-specific work; her adaptation Hamlet & Ophelia was nominated for Best Production and won the Best Director award at Galway’s Project ’06 Festival. After moving to Seattle, she created Playlist, an ongoing series combining original plays inspired by the songs of Seattle musicians, along with sets by those same musical artists. Now based in South Pasadena, she is thrilled to be joining the wonderful community at A Noise Within.
